Question Facebook not letting me use my friends code

I recently got a new phone and number. Well when I tried to log into my Facebook it sent the verification code to my old number that I no longer have access to. So I went through the steps of getting my 3 trusted friends to send me their codes so I could get back in. Well one friend took two days to do this. Now when I go back to try and type the codes in it is telling me I already submitted my ID and we will get back with you. Is there anything I can do to get around this or am I just stuck waiting for Facebook to get back with me. It has currently been a week since I sent them my ID.
