Factory reset changed my phone

I did a factory reset on my Samsung galaxy s8 plus because it wasn't connecting to WiFi. The Wi-Fi connection is fixed but my phone isnt the same at all! How can i get it back to the settings and format as before?

Change the settings back to how you had things. A factory reset does exactly that, sets it up like it was new. Any changes you did after it was new would have to be done again.
