Solved! Factory reset on S8, am I able to save all shortcuts?

I want to perform a factory reset in hopes to cure all the bugs.

I've synced everything on my Gmail, I will offload all pics, videos, and files.

My question is will I be able to save all my shortcuts amd text messages, badically returning the phone to it's current status?

I had a bad experience doing this with my S5 which is why I ask. That also replicated my contacts list on the S5 and was a pita to fix.

What you should do is backup your whole phone, to google and also samsung smart switch, and once its done you can format the phone, and put the data back onto the phone during setup (if you backup with google) or using the backup on your sd card from samsung smart switch.
