I wouldn't mind if you sent it to me. I got about 5 minutes into the show
and the sound jumped ahead of the video by about 5 seconds.

Although I've never watched Friends before I'll be happy to record both
episodes for you tonight. It's only 5:45pm here in Honolulu so I've set
up the recordings and I'll send them to you later tonight. Send me your
RTV number. BTW, I have the 5000 series.

I can send it but the last few minutes are missing. Channel Guide did
not indicate late ending (which also offset ER. Let me know if you want
it.

I have no ReplayTV (yet), but I completely forgot last night was Thursday
and so missed the final "Friends" episode. Can someone please sum it up for
me? I saw last week's episode where Ross and Rachel kiss. Now I want to
know how the show ends. Help? :)

Thanks and Regards,

Margaret

ER was cut short too. We caught the end live and then watched the first
55 minutes afterwards. Since it's not complete I didn't save it.

If you haven't tried www.poopli.com check it out. For some reason I only
got 10 minutes of Smallville the other night so I posted a request and
got an upload within an hour (took 10 hours to record it).

What recording quality. Some pople are saying the switching to medium
helps (of course it doubles transfer time too).

Spoiler space

To be brief:

Ross and Rachel woke up in bed together.

Erica (The woman carrying the Bing's brood) had twins ), and didn't
know it, There is one of each, they named the boy Jack, the girl
Erica.

Quote of the night:
Monica: "But we ordered only one"

Joey got the Bings a chick and duckling for a housewarming present,
but they got stuck in the foozeball table, neither could bear to
destroy the table to get them out, so Monica did the deed.

Rachel came back in the end.

Thank you!! BTW, for others who missed the final episode, it will be out on
DVD (along with the pilot episode) within the next few days. I heard this
courtesy of an email ad from DVDPlanet.Com....

It *also* includes draft screenplays for the Friends movie scheduled for
release Fall 2005.

Spoiler space.

Word has it that one screenplay is set at Phoebe and Mike's bed and
breakfast in Vermont, on Thankgiving weekend... 10 years from the final TV
episode. The gang will all be together for the first time in 8 years, since
the fractioning of relationships after Rachel left Ross for France, with
Emma in tow.

Ok, maybe not. But it's no more ___ than the current "ending."

The hole in that that Rachel never left Ross.
I mentioned this in another forum, how about a sitcom based on the new
life for Chandler and Monica? (of course, they'd get different
actors).

Methinks you misunderestimated my premise. (check it again... "screenplay
is set ... 10 years from the final TV episode... together for the first
time in 8 years... since the fractioning of relationships after Rachel left
Ross for France. +10 - 8 = + 2... So Rachel leaves Ross, the whining
half-man, 2 years from now.)

I was trying to be subtly derisive of the simplistic ending given the show,
especially in light of the demonstrated emotional instability of the Ross
and Rachel characters.
