I'm doing this over another computer so diagnostics may be difficult. In essence, my pc's networking capabilities aren't working right. It started a few months ago when a specific router (xfinity model) would connect to my pc but without internet. Ethernet worked as an alternative for said router. NOW, the general networking thingy isn't working: no Ethernet, no Wi-Fi. It'll connect, but no internet. I've reinstalled several versions of the driver (that I had off hand) and just completely uninstalled the device and restarted. When it came back up, in Device Manager it said something along the lines of 'found device driver but could not find device,' then I just connected to wifi (somehow) like normal and no more error reports. I think the physical adapter's broken, but I'm HOPEING one of you out there in cyberspace could tell me otherwise.
