First laptop! Asus vs Lenovo.

I'm looking at two laptops at the moment. The first is the lenovo z710 which I'm leaning towards..

But my computer tech friend recommended the ASUS x750JB-dh71-ca

Right now It will mainly be for gaming, downloading tons of music, and social networking. It will be used for school some time in the near future. Today I will be going to see the lenovo in person, because I am concerned with the weight.

Disregarding price, which do you believe would suit me best?
(I can find both computers locally in the $800 range, so price does not affect my decision)

My main concerns are space, speed, and social networking. i need to be able to run youtube and Facebook at the same time I'm downloading music and charging my cell and iPod. I need to be able to run microsoft office applications and games like call of duty. I know this Is a lot to ask of a laptop but which of these would do it best? which would be fastest? The most portable? The most reliable?

I'd say. the Asus one
Better CPU and more memory than the Lenovo one, good for multitasking

But GPU wise the Lenovo one is marginally better than the Asus one
