Flash doesn't show video on some websites

I've never had this problem before with adobe flash player.

On some websites I'll get just the audio part + the buttons and interface (not on all though) but not video.

I don't have any problems with the computer itself, the browser or any other conflicting software. I've used the same setup for years...

It's a fresh windows 10 install so I don't know what the deal is. I'm using firefox in case someone is wondering. Other than adblock I don't have any other addons or plugins except for the default ones.

Antivirus is avast.

If I delete flash the video plays so it's clearly adobe flash player at fault here... I fiddled with the settings and it won't fix anything.

Obviously it's the 64bit version just like the OS. I don't know what firefox modules you're talking about. Everything is up to date.

What I find weird is that I've had the same setup, same software before and only now it doesn't work. My mozilla shockwave flash player is also up to date so I don't know what else I can do. I've cleared cache and cookies from the browser, the player itself and still nothing.
