Flash problems

Hello,
I have downloaded Flash a number of timess, but still can't play any games. Even Adobe pops up a error msg that it's not the latest version and to click "here". I've done that and it brings me back to the 10.1 download which says it's downloaded but it doesn't work. Anybody else find this annoying as hell, and perhaps have solved the problem??

PS: Adobe has nothing addressing this problem, even tho it's been asked many times in their forums.
And, I think I posted this under the wrong category, but please help me anyway?
