Hello, i am looking to buy a laptop for my niece, the portability outwieghs the cost of just building a desktop for her,( wich im not really wanting to do atm as is). So i was looking for a decent laptop for her to do schoolwork and game a little bit. My price that im sitting around is 800 ish dollars. I was told to look at lenovo y50's as they are great and sit between 800-1000.

Problem is i can not seem to find one around the lower end of that price. Long/ short of it is , does anyone know a comparable laptop or a place selling y50's towards the lower end of my range. Thanks for the help.

Hey!

This should work (http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-17-3-i7-4700HQ-Laptop-Drive/dp/B00DXFF6EO/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1423079332&sr=1-2&keywords=asus+laptop) - $779.99

This performs similarly to the Y50, but maybe at a slightly lower graphical quality b/c of the 850M versus the 860M on the Y50. However, the ASUS is a great value and I constantly recommend it to budget gamers.
