So with it, you can play with each other from any device. But, you would need to take some steps to be able to play cross-platform. So refer to the guide below:

Firstly, you should know that the cross-play will only work if you are friends with the people you want to play with through an “Epic Account.” This is because you cannot just play on PS4 and chose to play with a bunch of random players from mobile phones. You can only play cross-play with your friends who are in your “Epic Account.” The reason is that the mobile players will not have many advantages against PC or PS4 players as they will have lower resolution and different controls and that won’t be a fair match.
Therefore, Epic has limited the cross-play feature to just friends. So, let’s get started with the steps:
1. Firstly, you need to make an Epic account. So open your PC or Mac and then go to epicgames.com. Now login with your PSN or Xbox account and you will get an Epic account. You will already have Epic account if you play on PC or Mobile. Once the account is created, it will track your stats no matter which platform you use.
2. Now you will have to become friends with the person(s) you want to play cross-platform through your Epic account. Remember that this friends list will be different than your Xbox Live or PSN list. So to become friends with people who you want to play cross-platform, you will have to download Epic Launcher on your PC/Mac.
3. Once you have the launcher, open it and log in. Now you will need to click on the silhouette at the top right and then enter the Epic email addresses or usernames of your friends and then hit Ok. Repeat the process until you have invited all of your friends.
4. Once your friends accept your invite, they will be added to your Epic account and now you can go to the system of your preference.
5. Now when you click the silhouette you will see all of your friends. Highlight the name of the friend you want to play with and select “Join the Party” and you will enter their lobby.
