You will need to get a used laptop for Fortnite for that budget, something with a 1050Ti card should be OK. You are just out of gaming laptop territory even for low end with that budget.

you can make desktop with used parts which can run it 60fps medium or more but laptop no way. Search for laptops with gtx 960m i have experience trying one and it worked well, ofcourse cpu needs to be decent but nothing fancy needed. You cant get new for 500 but used for less than that.
