Hey folks!
Just a heads up that over the next few weeks, we will be working on adding new badges and associating more tags with existing badges. This will be (presumably) retroactively updated for all accounts.
What this means for you all is that you may suddenly find that you have a bunch of new badges! You may wind up being awarded badges from old threads, whose tags have been freshly linked to existing badges! You may spontaneously get some never-before-seen badges, as we add new ones for new forum categories/tags (such as Windows 10 and PC Gaming) and add some tags that are currently missing (brand-related ones like MSI, Razer, etc).
So if you get a ton of notifications about being awarded new badges, don't freak out! Nothing is broken and you will not be accused of trying to game the BA system.
We are expecting to implement new badges as early as next week, but may possibly add a few in today if we can. Good luck obtaining all the new shinies!
