forum for dell inspiron 1720---i have a power plug problem--i bought a new one and thast worked great for awhile but now where the male pluggs in to the computer wont hold contact my batteries are gone so if it looses contact it shuts down and then i have to wiggle the plug or unplug and replug several times until i get it to work the pin in the end of the plug looks fine--- can someone help me please!!!

Can you use sentences and better descriptions? Is the power supply or the power jack the issue?
