FPS issues continue

Hey guys, hopes someone can help me. I recently posted about my constant drop in FPS that my laptop was experiencing. After a while I was asked if my battery settings were put on High Performance Mode. Switching to this mode had seemed to fix the FPS constantly dropping. Everything was going fine until a few days ago when the problems started again. The battery options remain on high performance. What do?

Hey there, Watsky.

Does this happen with all games? I'd recommend that you backup your important data, just in case. Then download and run the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool (or a third party one if the manufacturer doesn't offer such a tool), to see if any errors or bad sectors pop-up. You could also run diagnostics for your RAM as well. It would be also wise to check if your GPU drivers are up to date.

It sounds like that either the cpu or gpu is being throttled due to heat build up. Have you tried using a laptop cooler.
