Hello,
Does anyone of plans by any manufacturer to release a 15 inch laptop platform that has 120Hz, 3D ready panel? There are some discounted 15 inch models out there and quite a few 17 inch platforms, but what about 15 inch platform that doesn't require an external monitor?

probably will see them on high end models like alienware and the like. 120hz does require quite a bit more power, so putting it on a 15 is more of a challenge since PSU typically designed with lesser TDP in mind than a 17"

I don't have any solid info though

Asus made 15 inch 120Hz 3D laptops. The old G51 with GTX 260M and new G53 SX with GTX 460M are some examples.
As per ASUS there will be another 3D laptop without the need for glasses. It was announced back in May, and I dont know when will it get released though.

Apart from ASUS, toshiba also have 3D models but with weaker GTX 540M GPU. I haven't come across other brands though.

You have to keep in mind a thumb rule: the frame rate in a 3D 120 Hz display is will be "HALF" of that you could get on a 60Hz display in any resolution.
