G230 either too quiet or lots of background noise.

Hi, I just got yhe g230 headphone and I immediately notice that the microphone is way too quiet for human ear to listen to, even when I'm speaking directly into it, I could only hear muffle. I tried cranking the mic boost to 30db, that helps but it also increase the static, background noise.
