G552vw (i7) or gl752vw (i5)

Dear community

Im about to buy a New laptop, and this is the first time im doing it myself.
I live in middle europe, and right now there are 2 laptops which posses acceptable prices. Here they come :
1)
Asus G552VW - 1000 USD

Intel Core i7-6700HQ
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 2GB
8GB RAM DDR4
1000 GB 7200RPM SATA
15.6"

2)
Asus GL752VW - 1024 USD

Intel Core i5-6300HQ
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 2GB
8 GB RAM DDR4
1000 GB 7200RPM SATA
17.3"


I heard lots of rumors that I7 versions have overheating problems with lot of throttling, but the prices are really close to each other.

I would like to ask you guys, which one is the bigger deal. Having a larger screen with a still decent i5 that might have no heating issues, or smaller screen with an overkill i7 but for the same price.

i will recommend i7 6700HQ , it is better than i5 6300HQ , but if you want bigger screen , you should go with
Asus GL752VW - 1024 USD .

i7 6700HQ and i5 6300HQ , there is not a lot difference between them , they are really too close in terms of performance and benchmarks .

i7 is rated 8.3 and i5 is rated 8.1 , not much defference .

if i were you i would have definitely gone with the second option because of much bigger screen

Yea, thats okay but did anyone heard about overheating issues? Or even experienced it?
