Samsungs discounts are always deceiving and only maximize under extreme cases even with trading in last years model. For example, with my Samsung S9 plus 512gb, samsung is only willing to give me $500 as a trade in. That makes my cost for this years S10 512gb at $720 and with tax close to $800 for basically the same product with a mediatek processor and a few a.i features. Hardly worth the upgrade, so not much of a deal from my perspective IMHO.
