galaxy s5 nfc& qi adapter

I am abt to buy a Qi charger for my Samsung Galaxy S5 coz Samsung phone disappointed me again! I had never tried using no cables to charge my phones but it might seem convenient when I'm on the move. By far my phone has two batteries, stock and a back up battery from mpj without NFC feature. Wondering whether or not the Qi charger is applicable to battery without NFC?

Qi doesn't need an NFC equipped battery.

One thing to note: Most cheap after-market pads that sit in the back of the phone prevent NFC from working (because the coil gets in the way). The official Samsung solution replaces the back cover, and includes an extra NFC antenna, so you have NFC even with non-NFC batteries.
