Mobile games flat out suck. I'm not talking about the crappy touch screen controls either. The games ttthemselves are what is crap.
The games have absoluetly no depth or imahination. The best games are ports of old console games and emulators, which consequently take the top downloaded app positions.
The hardware is good to go. Even the touch screen controls can be tolerated. The developers just suck. They're amatuer hour, quick buck, con artists, more interested in selling your personal information to advertisers than making a good game

Have to agree with Grandmaster on this one, most games suc and they nickel and dime u to death ... if u don't feel like grinding and wasteing time in them .... but lets all be thankfull for Carmageddon and Z for Android

I wrote this a while back for someone else, not sure if the links will come through, but you can search for the game names on googleplay and watch the movies. These are very weird links they have over there, but hopefully they lead directly to the games. I could add many more to the list now. This is just the beginning. I guess you don't look at googleplay much I'm waiting for a T4 tablet and my dad has a nexus 10 so I started looking recently for stuff I'd want myself (you know, a good reason to finally buy one...LOL). I'd say I'll be jumping soon. Now I just need the right T4 tablet (Tegrazone has to be in there as NV is pushing mobile gaming a lot and already work with xbox360 controllers etc), for my purchase. No doubt the comment system here will royally screw up this post but worth a try.

Are you kidding me? I'm not going to argue if those games are the best, because that's subjective, but they definitely DO NOT take the top downloaded app positions. That belongs to stuff like Angry Birds, Temple Run, Where's my Water? and Subway Surfers.
There's actually plenty of games with a retro look and feel in the Play store, but they're completely new games. So you can even get games from "that era" that are new if that's your kind of thing.
