Hi wonder if I could get some advice please. I am looking for a gaming laptop (tongue in cheek as world of Warcraft isn't very demanding). I only really play wow the rest of the time be normal stuff is youtube twitch etc. main reason I am buying is I do shift work so one week I play on me desktop the next I am normally at my gfs so would save dragging me PC round there. I would like to play on ultra (budget is flexable but prefer to stay around 800 can push to 1000 pounds) would settle for high. my old alienware laptop was 17" and loved it but could go 15". I can easily upgrade ram hard drive later on so can sacrifice them areas for better cpu or graphics card. I did look on PC specialist and overclockers but tbh I not built a machine in 5 years and feel really out of the loop lol . sorry about wall of text and thank you for any advice :). been looking for about a month now and need to stop sitting on the fence and buy lol

pcspecialist is probably your best bet for bang for buck
you could get an optimus V 17 - the upgrades you'll want are:
I7 4710MQ processor
8GB RAM
250,500,750GB depending on the size you want 7200 RPM HDD.
kingston 60 / 120 GB SSD
arctic thermal paste
gigabit lan & intel wireless ac 7260.
silver warranty
£887
take away the SSD to go around £800 ish

that dose look good if i stretched me budget to 1050 do you think it would be worth going with:

17.3" full hd led
i7 4710mq
8gb ram (1600hz)
gtx 870m
120gb samsung evo
artic paste

or for what i use it for i be better of with the one you suggested above? i ask as i never upgraded graphics card in a laptop and wonder if the price increase is worth it tbh. If not then il go with the one you suggested cant find anything close to specs or that money :)

The 870M's a monster and will last you awhile on ultra-detail gaming, but the way I see it, I think the dasulman's suggestion is a a better deal since you're saving 250 bucks on a card that's just a level lower than the 870M.
