Gaming laptop advice £800-£1000 budget UK

Hi guys,

I'm going to work abroad for 6 months and so need a gaming laptop to take with me.

Budget is £800-£1000 and needs to be purchased in the UK

I generally tend to play games like WoW, LoL, Diablo3 but also like to play some newer titles from time to time. Don't need to play newer games on Ultra. Medium/high on latest titles is fine.

I have seen this HP omen 15 for £899 with discount code.
Anyone got any experience with these omen 15's?

Or do you think its worth spending a little extra and getting something like an alienware 17 R4 or 15 R3 certified refurb from dell outlet. They are around £1000-£1100 with discount codes.

Any other suggestions are welcome!

I have had 0 luck with HP's and Alienware is just an overpriced dell. I would look at Asus and MSI laptops, with similar specs
