Hi, Im looking for a gaming laptop for games like skyrim, day z, guild wars 2, dues ex etc. The screen cant be bigger than 16 inches, i can go a bit over 800, but not much. right now im considering these laptops:

a lot of the laptops im finding are 900 or more :L
anything that can play skyrim, day z, guild wars 2, dues ex etc. for around 800 (preferably less :p) on high would be great, any help would be appreciated and thanks for looking :D

the coupon didnt work so it ended up being only a little less for a worse processor, gpu, and smaller screen :L

so what's your top budget?
The Y480 is not the best performer for the money.

For less than 800$, you have the HP dv4t-5100, GT 650M GDDR5 including 32GB mSSD for 795$, 745$ without:

The problem is the screen. If you want a good FullHD screen, you can go for 900$ laptops..

Latest laptops in the market such as the Battalion 101 X7200, Asus G74SX and the Alienware M18x are specially designed for high-impact gaming are powered by quad-core processors and blindingly fast video cards. Go for it!

Hope it helps!

I would get one of those but they're all over 1000, and 800 would already be really stretching it for me :L

like hell it doesn't work!
just tried it and it's ok. Please let me know what you did - the whole point is to use this coupon, otherwise why buy this laptop?

i tried it again and it worked this time -__- i think last time i might have copied and pasted the coupon with the period (NBR5142.). And juust to make sure this will be able to run Skyrim, dota 2, etc. on high with around 30-40 fps?

exactly your question
http://www.gaminglaptopsjunky.com/gaming-laptop-game/gaming-laptop-skyrim/

yes. Probably Ultra settings for Skyrim because of the low resolution

dota2 seems to be quite light game too:
