Gaming Laptop Budget <$2400 980

Looking at purchasing a laptop mainly for gaming with some web-browsing and possible torrenting on the side.

The budget is quite strict.

Form factor is not an issue but an 18" screen is out of the question as this laptop will travel with me as go about the world in the navy.

I've looked at the gt72 dominator pro 210 and as it stands this is the laptop i will buy.
If anyone has had any issues with msi or more particularly that specific model it would be good too know before jumping into such a large purchase.

The website that I've been checking out is xoticpc so any feedback on that would also be great.

I am fairly particular when it comes to the screen so feedback on the dominators display along with the displays of possible laptop alternatives would be greatly appreciated.

This is the second thread I've written in my entire life so if there is anything done incorrectly or any vital information left out let me know and I'll fix it up.

SSD is only 256GB. But it's better than slow 1TB HDDs you find on laptops. 256 GB is fine as long as you keep the rarely played steam games and other media on an external HDD.

thanks for the great advice guys, I did some research into the aorus and found the cooling fans were quite loud and inefficient that and aorus being an unknown brand in my eyes (having not heard of it until recently) turned me away from it. the titan is too big you're correct
