Gaming laptop, does it matter what I plug in first?

Does it matter if I plug the DC (Plug that goes into laptop) first then the plug that goes into the wall last?

I heard rumour saying that the first wave of electricity passing through the adapter is not filtered as safe energy that your laptop can use, which is why you plug in the plug into the wall first and the DC last.

Is that true, because there are no sources I can find warning people to plug which one first.

It doesnt matter. i would recommend getting a plug with anti power surge if you really afraid.
