Used Gaming Laptop Needs
Screen Size 15-17 LED (will make expects for 13 depends if it has mostly everything on list)
Relsoution 1600x or 1920x
(UPGRADEABLE) 8gb 1600 hmz
1tb with 120 gb SSD (does not need to come included just option to upgrade)
playing games past 30 fps Medium high Dedicated Graphics (Direct X 11)
under $700
can be used

Hopefully something that looks good cause am use to the quality of my macbook pro 2011 but realize
i need some good mobile power for LAN parties and just all the specs i list are better then this laptop
things like battery life are not really needed cause you should be plunged in for gaming for best performance
i am looking to play new games like COD ADvan bf3 & 4 titanfall and i will be happy if i am able to at least
play them stable am looking for those laptops which you can upgrade everything on it my friend recommends
a workstation but i think maybe there are better options (this laptop can come with bad specs that
i can upgrade) there so enlighten me guys (anything is better then MAC for gaming i am happy i have been
able to play games like LOL and smite and COD WAW) but its time to move on for something with some more
serious specs

- 750 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
- 15.6-Inch Screen; NVIDIA Geforce GT820M with 2GB DDR3 VRAM

They both...
Also laptop and upgradeable could almost be considered an oxymoron.

Outside of memory, hard drive and wifi chip there is very little inside any laptop that is upgradeable, if and I mean if the cpu or gpu can even be removed (vs being soldered to the motherboard) the upgrade options will be so limited you only need 1 hand to count them.

They both should be able to handle gaming on low to medium-ish settings at least, depending on the game. The 840m is heaps better than the 820m, but the ULV processor on the Acer will probably hold it back a bit.

That's the best you can do for under $700 unless you are willing to use a laptop running AMD hardware.
