Is this a good gaming laptop?

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Toshiba+-+Qosmio+17.3%26%2334%3B+Laptop+-+12GB+Memory+-+1TB+Hard+Drive+-+Black/6927497.p?id=1218814319856&skuId=6927497

I want to play newer games with settings as high as possible. If you wouldn't recommend this could you give options for a $1500 budget? would like to stay close to $1300 but could go to $1700 if it was worth it.
Thanks for any info.

Qosmio has the least powerful graphics card. The 17.3" MSI laptop's graphics card is in the middle. The 15.6" MSI laptop has the most powerful graphics card.

The other specs are more or less the same with the exception of the screen. The Qosmio has a 1600x900 resolution screen while the two MSI laptops both have 1920x1080 resolution. The Qosmio will provide better performance because the resolution is lower. Of course you can always opt to play games at 1600x900 on a 1920x1080 screen.

The Qosmio is the cheapest, but Bestbuy will charge you tax which increases the total price. Newegg does not charge tax unless you live in the same state were Newegg has it's headquarters (CA), or in states where it has warehouses (TN and NJ that I am aware of).

I would go for the 15.6" MSI since I prefer working with 1920x1080 resolution.
