Gaming Laptop Screen 4k 15 in. vs 1920x1080 17 in.

I am going to get a high end gaming laptop and I have to choose between a 15 in. that could be 4k for a little more money and a 17 in. that is 1920x1080. Is it better to get the bigger screen for gaming or will it be better to get the higher resolution? Its not only going to be for gaming, but also for work. What do you guys think?
The specs between the two computers are the same.

id get the 17in personally 4k at 15in that's a lot of pixels per inch.
