Gaming laptop under $1100 for a student

Hi,
I am a student looking for a good laptop under $1100. This laptop will be used for school, so it needs an okay battery while not gaming. It should also be portable(15.6 in max.) and sturdy. The games I play are GTA V, League, and FPS games. I will also be using this laptop for programming and CAD. The laptops I have looked at are the Asus ROG 15.6in, but people have been saying it is flimsy, the MSI Apache series, and the Alienware 13(I've heard of people having problems as well. It would be a plus if it had a lot of storage. It should also have at least 8gb ram.

Pretty much anything here will be good, you will find problems with any laptop model if you read reviews and comments.

which costs only $900, but since I've been talking about this laptop over an over again I don't know if there is somebody who finally makes the decision and buys it
