Hello,
I wanna buy a gaming laptop from Shenker.
It is :
XMG P701 PRO Gaming Notebook 43,9cm (17.3")
I want to know the customize I have made is well balanced for ultimate gaming or maybe I should change any or even raise my budget. So:
It's got,
Radeon 6970M 2GB
Intel Core i7-2820QM
Memory: 16GB 4*4 1333Mhz
2x 40GB Intel X25-M G3 SATAII in Raid 0 Mode
Bigfoot Wireless LAN Killer N1102
Non Glare Screen.
I'm waiting for your advices.
Regards.

Solution
I don't see anything wrong with either the CPU or SSD selections. I would honestly see how the system does with 8gb of RAM. Choose the 2x4096mb option so that way you have 2 extra slots open should you decide you want to make the jump to 16gb later on. Obviously, that's just my opinion. It's ultimately your choice.

Looks nice stuff, right? It might worth u a peek. Hope u find the best stuff.
Thanks for your answer cloudy2010,
but do you think that I should get 8GB of ram and GTX 460M instead of 16GBs HD6970 and even a lower cpu?
Please tell me more about your offer.
Regards.

1. I doubt 16gb of RAM is necessary, but that's up to you. Keep in mind that RAM is generally pretty easy to upgrade on your own.
2. The HD 6970 will run circles around the GTX 460M so no, the recommendation isn't valid.
3. The BigFoot Wireless LAN is probably overkill. The Intel Centrino Advanced would probably do fine. But I guess the upgrade isn't that much more, so again up to you.

What? How are any of those relevant?

Radeon 9700: 9 year old graphics chip that will not be able to play any of today's games.

FireGL V3200: 7 year old professional series graphics chip based of a midrange mainstream chip that again, won't play today's games very well, if at all.

Intel GMA 900: You've got to be freaking kidding me. Not even going there.

Hi,
Thank you so much for commenting on my config,
About the ram,I've heard more ram more performance.Something I didn't hear about CPU or other parts.
Look,I generally want to do gaming with my laptop and of course Video editing and multitasking are on my 2nd and 3rd priorities.
So,do you think I should save money on 8GB ram and get more on CPU or a better SSD or...
Please tell me.
Thanks again.
Regards.
