hi. ive noticed that the better the gaming laptop, the thicker it is. I was wondering why this is? Is it because the higher end GPUs are bigger? or they need more room for cooling?
Small notebooks are small because they don't need too much room for heatsink/heat dispersal. High-end gaming notebooks are big because they will generate more heat(obviously) and that heat needs to go somewhere and the only way is by getting big heatsinks and blowing out the heat.
