Good one, You are asking other people to research laptop's for you..
My answer is No . Go and tell all the above mention things to sales-personnel in a laptop shop, they will be able to help you.. or go and pick out a alien-ware laptop you like that should do the trick.
unless you are planning to build a laptop. Now that will be something different and i would be happy to waste my (non existing)knowledge

Here is a pretty decent system. It carries a 670M and its a beast of a graphics processor. Its just under 1500 but this will give you a starting point and a "high end" reference. As always, I suggest an additional SSD or replace the HDD with one together.

And i agree with getting an SSD would be nice, i would most likely just put my photos on it, but thats for another day. I am hoping to get a machine that can beast Guild Wars 2.

I am NOT trying to sell you anything and this is NOT my eBay account. I brought my W520 on eBay about 2 weeks ago. I have been researching a laptop workstation for heavy Adobe Photoshop work with the ability to play games but I also wanted the following:

- military specs toughness (I have 5 small children)
- split proof keyboard
- HD res screen
- ability to run VMware ESX server natively
- can support up to 32 GB of RAM
- has raid support
- has a TrackPoint mouse key
- has a SSD drive
- Sandy Bridge i7 cpu
- internal magnesium rollcage
- driver support for Windows 8 & Windows Server 2012
- Linux and Solaris driver support
- $1,100 budget

The Intel Ivy Bridge just came out and IBM/Lenovo has upgrade the W series from 520 to 530 so the price is dropping on the W520 and especially on the refurbish units (which come with a full IBM/Lenovo warranty). I found the one I wanted with the specs I needed and made an offer of $1,000 on a unit selling for 1,399.00 and the eBay seller came back at $1,100 and I brought it. Do some research and you will see that the W520 series are a very solid workstation class laptop.

Clevo 150 EM or 170EM ... I haven't bought a non-Clevo lappie in 5 years ... and that's about 15-16 laptops.

CLEVO is a large Taiwanese computer company specializing in laptops. Most laptop vendors you know don't actually manufacture the products they sell and arguing "what is better" between two brands that were both made at the same factory can be kinda pointless. The vast majority of laptops on the market are manufactured by a small handful of Original Design Manufacturers (ODM). Major relationships include:
