Garage Sale Audio Buy - Is It Any Good?

I don't know much about audio equipment, just wondering if what i'm looking at is worth taking up floor space or not. Haven't tested it yet, but I bought it from a friend, so I'm assuming it works.

For $10, I bought an old Sears LXI series tower stereo setup. It's a multi-playing thing (has a record player, cassette deck, CD player, digital stereo tuner, graphics equalizer, and stereo amplifier. It didn't come with any speakers, but the back of the unit says 60hz only 670W.

It's a cheap, rebadged Japanese system from the late 70's/early 80's; worth about what you paid for it.

The rating on the back tells you that it will draw a maximum of 670 watts from your AC outlet. It doesn't tell you how much power it can drive speakers with. Google the make and model to maybe find out so you have some idea what speakers will work with it.
