good morning - no sir would not read from the CD Rom - I did change the boot order in the Bios but still had no luck
Make sure the disk is good, try to boot it on another system. Did you see the "hit any key to boot from CD" message?
No sir I don't get press any key - you can hear the cd rom spinning but the screen flashes Win 95 then goes directly to a c:\ - there are 2 files on this drive - Linux dir and under C;\ command com -
Files on what drive? Do you mean the C: drive? If you changed the drive it should be blank, or do did you get a used one? Boot off the CD, you may need to hit a function key to select the disk, you should see an option to select the optical drive to boot from. There are some systems...

There are some systems that don't allow booting from the disk but that is pretty rare. Make sure the disk you are using boots OK in another system.
