I have a Gateway laptop that I've been handed to re-install Windows 7 on and everything runs fine and smoothly, but I can't get the USB ports to work as Windows can't seem to find the USB drivers for the USB ports.
I've honestly never heard of something like this, how can a generic USB driver not work?
Also, the system has found the USB 3.0 drivers it seems but the one USB 3.0 port on it still does not work and yes I've un-installed the drivers and tried to find and re-install them but still squat.
Anyways, the system has these components:
AMD E-300 APU
1x4GB of RAM
1x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0 Ports
DVD-ROM
New 500GB WD Blue HDD
