Hello guys,
I recently bought the Gigabyte p25,
it worked fine for about 2 days, setting up windows 8.1, installing games, etc...
one day I start it and it goes to the bios, I go save and exit,
from then on it went to the bios every time I tried to exit or reboot the PC,
I checked the HDD was vibrating so I assumed it was not damaged,
I tried to change options in the bios:
-security device support enable/disable
-sata mode selection AHCI/IDE/RAID
-serial ATA port 0 : empty UNKNOWN (the only one detected is the DVD drive)
-Legacy USB support enable/disable
-OS type: UEFI OS (is the only option)
-default secure boot on enable/disable
-restore win 8.1 default
I also tried to unplug all USB from the laptop,
also tried to unplug the laptop and take the battery out for like 15 min to try to reset the phisical memory.
None of the above worked, every time it reboots it goes back to the bios,
only once did it boot to windows, I though I fixed the problem somehow, but the next time I rebooted it went back to bios again.
Any help would be really appreciated, let me know if you need specific info about my config.
EDIT:
I took the HDD out and plugged it via USB and it booted to windows,
so I think the problem is hardware, probably connection from mother board to the HDD.
