Gigabyte p35x v3 dissembly warranty and factory resetting.

i was wondering if you can dissemble the gigabyte p35x v3 while its still under warranty. will i void the warranty if i dissemble my laptop and repaste the thermal compound? i dont see any stickers under the laptop where i ccould tamper with even if i wanted to take it apart.

How do i reset my gigabyte p35x v3 back to its factory settings with its factory applications such as the bloatware? i feel like doing this as there is something important that i dont have in the laptop when i reinstalled windows. i am currently using windows 10.

Hi,

With other laptops removing the factory coolers of the CPU or GPU will void the warranty. There should be stickers on it saying that the factory warranty will be voided if tampered. Please do contact Gigabyte Support for more information about this. Also you may need to order a System Recovery disc in order to put it back to factory settings wherein you have everything when it came in. When you upgrade to Windows 10 from your original OS, chances are the built in factory image will not work.
