Good audio entertainment setup for around $500?

Budget is around $500
Would like something that has LONG wires so I can place them over all over my house (maybe wireless if there are such things as wireless speakers with good sound) A subwoofer, and if possible lights or somethign cool looking on the speakers/subwoofer unless I can buy those separately. Would also like the option to add more speakers to the setup if I ever need too.

You have a few options, and you can do this wirelessly. Sonos is known for this and you can fill the whole house with these.
