Hi guys,
when a friend of mine bought the razer kraken and said it was incredible for its price and so on, I thought I would buy one.
But when I read the reviews online people said it wasn't that good in the mids and for gaming.
So here I am, looking for a good headset for gaming, skype, editing and listening to music, with a budget of around 100 euros (something like 130 dollars).
Does anybody has a suggestion?

Firstly, don't get the Razer Kraken. When it comes to audio, Razer is usually not very good except for the Adaro In-Ears which I use. They are like Beats 2.0 in the sense that they put way to much emphasis on low end (bass) and the mids and highs do not sound very good. For your $130 budget, I'd say to go with the Kingston HyperX Cloud. The response curve on it isn't so horrible like the Razer's and they have a decent mic. They come in at around $80 on Amazon and it's a great deal. There is a newer HyperX Cloud 2, but I'm not so sure on how it sounds as I have not personally tested it or read any reviews on it. Another option would be to go with the Steelseries Siberia v2 or v3. The v2 is tried and tested and is great for gaming as it...

The v2 is tried and tested and is great for gaming as it is very comfortable with the suspension headband and the mic is pretty good. The way the v3 improves on the v2 is on the comfort department. The v3 uses more comfortable memory foam earcups but frankly, my v2's comfort is really good already. And since the v3 costs about $20 more than the v2, I would suggest the v2 if you were considering either, but the choice is still yours (of course).

Thank you so much for the recommendations, but wouldn't the cloud II be better than the normal cloud, because I don't mind spending that extra bit.
