I'm trying to find a good laptop to record with elgato of my Xbox one and edit the fudge with, my price range is 800$ but if I must go higher I will

The following Lenovo Ideapad 700 for $674 should be fine for your needs. It has a quad core i5-6300HQ which can encode video faster than a dual core CPU. The GTX 950m is not bad if you want to play PC games.
