Good laptops that would last 5 years?

Hi there, I'm going to be an engineering student this Monday. I was looking for a laptop right around below £800 that would last long. And I want to play some games occasionally like the new Star Wars battlefield and GTA V. Could you reccomend any?

If I were you I would purchase the 15.6" Gigabyte as a 17.3" model will have a poor battery life and will be unwieldy to carry around. I own a 14" and a 15.6" laptops and the latter is the maximum I would want to transport around.
I am in the process of purchasing a 17.3' MSI Notebook but only because it will be staying in one place as a PC replacement but easily stowed away when I am not in that house.
Have a look at the MSI 15.6 notebooks, you may find one that suits you.

I think that the 15.6'' Gigabyte gaming laptops and the ASUS ROG series of laptops would definitely last you years!
