You might as well get the following Acer laptop with a Core i5-5200u, nVidia 940m dedicated GPU and 1080p screen for $490 ($40 more). The 940m is far more powerful than the Intel HD 5500, but is still considered a relatively weak dedicated GPU. You can max out Minecraft at 1080p.
