Good mobile laptop?

Hi I'm looking for a low end laptop (I have a desktop for home) that has good battery life, decent wifi and is able to use YouTube and word and all that.

I'd recommend the 11-inch MacBook Air. It has all the things you asked for (good performance, really solid build quality, extremely thin and light, great battery life, really portable, and it'll last you a long time, also with Apple's excellent customer support.)

You can always install Windows on it for anything you need that can't be done in OS X. The Core i5 and HD 5000 graphics on it can even handle light gaming (like Dota, LoL, CSGO, Minecraft etc.) with ease

You can buy a refurbished one from Apple (which still comes with all the standard support and warranties) for $809.

I would go for a chromebook. You can use the online version of office assuming you have an internet connection. Otherwise a lenovo g series should do.
