I'm looking for a ultrabook for around $1000, I've heard great things about the Dell XPS 13 but I guess is there a better option for the money?

Now I don't mean this to come off as being inconsiderate, but I really am looking for a laptop that is around that price, and I'd like it to be a laptop at that price because $300 laptops are quite honestly terrible, no offense to those who buy them. Now coming to my final point, I'd still like to know if anyone is aware of a better laptop than the XPS 13 for about the same price.
