For the love of God, if you have even the slightest notion that climate change might be real and you'd like to do something about it, do not make this switch. Every AI query you send to ChatGPT and friends uses many times the power of a simple web search.

Google also now runs an AI query for pretty much every search, showing the results in its AI overview. This does exactly the same thing as ChatGPT Search but worse.
