"Google is hardly the first company to offer handwriting recognition keyboards for Android. Samsung's Galaxy phones have had a handwriting option for years and there are some third-party handwriting apps such as MyScript Stylus, available in the Play store."
K, I was wondering since this article was sounding like it was something new. I've had this feature in my Note 2.
I was using a Toshiba tablet / laptop hybrid over 10 years ago (at a guess). It used an early version of Microsoft's OneNote, and its handwriting recognition was pretty good. The fact that Google have decided to do the same in 2015 is hardly newsworthy!
