Google and Facebook app

I used to have 2 apps in google chrome extensions tab 1 for google.com and one for facebook.com but I reinstalled my windows and they are gone and I can't find them in the app store. Both just took me to the websites . I remember there is a way to make my own extension to take me to those websites but I don't remember how can anyone help?

It's like the YouTube app Google has on the app store but for facebook and google.com
