You mindless pawn - this is a stunt. Google can't handle the influx? Google - the company with the biggest server pawns in the world? Of course they can handle, but are pretending they can't because its SOOO POPULAR and so pawns like you blog about it and get people interested in being let in to the club - Facebook did the same thing, Gmail. Now this - it's all a scam. Wake up and smell reality

It wasn't a loophole, that invitation mechanism is by design. You invite people by sharing with them. The Invite button is what was unusual to attract new users, and it won't be there in general.

Also, invitations are working again at this time so if you got one previously that didn't work, try it again. And again, to invite more people, just post a comment to their email address, or add them to a circle and post to that circle.

Yeah, because I heard Google's servers are just sitting there collecting dust and not doing revenue generating things like running the biggest search engine and email client in the entire world.

Who the hell would waste a ridiculous amount of precious server space just to satisfy demand for a beta initiative, you know, the thing that makes NO MONEY until it actually goes live?

Yup, if you say people can't have it, the more they want it!
