Google is redirecting me to a weird site...?

So for some reason, while I browse through google, the url link will lead me to the normal google site. Which shows up as this link: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl

However, once I click a website and go back to the main google page, the webpage will now show itself as this: https://www.google.com/webhp?gws_rd=ssl&ei=KYpNVa_fEMi3sAXgjYDIBA&emsg=NCSR&noj=1

Now, before I continue - I would like to mention I looked up what could have caused the issue. Apparently, it was the cause of some browser hijacker based on the information I looked up. So I did the usual methods I do to get rid of (most) browser hijackers while under safe mode. For some odd reason, all of the programs I used such as Kaspersky, Malwarebytes, RKill, Adwarecleaner, and HitmanPro did not pick up anything unusual but tracking cookies.

So I'm not sure if this is like a deep virus/rootkit or if this is just a normal thing about google. The only thing that really does change is it shows a black bar on top. However, I did not install anything involving Conduit - which is why the solutions have not worked for me so far or don't make much sense. Just wondering if it's normal behavior from Google or what... I apologize if this is not the right category to put this question in.

Ah. I apologize for looking like an idiot. I just thought maybe I had the Google redirect virus or if it was maybe a normal thing that google had with that /webhp suffix. I also forgot to mention I tend to log on with my google account. So I'm not sure if that's why there's a black bar on top or why it gives me that /webhp suffix.
