I've got a pixel 6 pro and I'm using magsafe accessories. I bought a case that has the ring on the back and all that stuff works just fine for me. I'm sure it doesn't charge as fast as Qi2 standard, but everything else is good.

My conspiracy theory is that now that Apple got Qi2 standardized, they were afraid of competition since it's a hardware feature that's awesome but was exclusive to them.
So, Apple paid Google and Samsung to not release a phone this calendar year with Qi2.
